It’s hardly surprising that the Who’s halftime performance at this year’s Super Bowl was highlighted by rousing renditions of the “Baba O’ Riley” and “Won’t Get Fooled Again,” two tracks from the band’s classic 1971 album, Who’s Next. Even after 40 years, the disc’s rich textures, exquisite songwriting, and sonic bluster still pack a wallop.
